News Directors & Newsroom Managers
Voting - any person actively engaged in the preparation of news for a licensed radio or television station, cable system, network or other program service. Includes titles such as GM, VP/News, News Director, Assistant News Director, EP, Assignment Editor, Managing Editor

Broadcast & Digital Newsroom Staff
Voting - any person actively engaged in the preparation of news for a licensed radio or television station, cable system, network or other program service, but NOT in a position to exercise significant editorial supervision of news programming. Includes titles such as Reporter, Producer, Anchor, Correspondent, Photographer.
Voting - any person actively engaged in the preparation of news for a licensed radio or television station, cable system, network or other program service, but NOT in a position to exercise significant editorial supervision of news programming. Includes titles such as Reporter, Producer, Anchor, Correspondent.
Voting - any person involved in online or digital news.
Voting - recent college graduate who is actively engaged in the preparation of news or is seeking positions in the field. May designate this category for up to two years after college graduation.
Academic
Voting - Any person teaching full- or part-time at a high school, college or university. Stay current with industry practices and get great classroom material from our training resources and award winners.
Non-voting- Full-time college students preparing for radio or television journalism careers. Get your career off to the right start, and join or form a Student Chapter for more opportunities and dues discounts!
Friends
Voting - Any individual who is retired and has been an RTDNA member for at least five years. Does not apply to those who leave the field but remain consultants.

Non-voting- Any individual supporting the goals of RTDNA, but not qualified for any other category of membership. Includes public relations, media relations and government professionals.
Vendor & Supplier Companies
Company or organization providing products, information and/or services to the electronic journalism industry? Get increased visibility and access to the RTDNA member base as aSupplier member.
Corporate Station Groups
Get a significantly discounted group rate when you enroll all your station’s News Directors or other executives, plus additional visibility, as an RTDNA Corporate Member.Contact us to learn more.
